Dear Parents and Carers
Wow! Term 3 has flown by. The class has really enjoyed starting reading The Iron Man. They have also enjoyed learning to identify money and count out amounts.
This term, our topic is Famous individuals. We will carry on learning about a variety of famous individuals in our World Studies lessons. We will continue reading and exploring the story of The Iron Man during our English lessons and continue our weekly phonics sessions. In Science lessons, we will be learning about and exploring aspects of light in term 4. Our cookery lessons will continue to focus on safety, food hygiene and independence skills through making simple snacks and dishes. The topic for our computing sessions is e-safety and for PSHE, the topic is Relationships and Sex Education. Finally, in Maths lessons, we will be learning about time and measurement in term 4.
As part of our learning experience, we will be going to Forest School every Thursday in term 4. Therefore, could students please wear or bring footwear and clothing that is appropriate for spending time in the woods.
Lisa, Meghan, Michelle and Jamie will all continue working as teaching assistants in the class.
A quick reminder that no nuts should be sent into school as we are a nut free school.
