Bumble Bee Class

Welcome to Bumblebee Class!

We are a year one class, based on our site at Parkside Community Primary School. We follow the EYFS curriculum and learn through play and exploration.

We understand how important child development is and try to embed the Characteristics of Effective Learning into the classroom:

Playing and Exploring - children investigate and experience things and ‘have a go’

Active Learning - children concentrate and keep on trying if they encounter difficulties and enjoy achievements

Creating and thinking critically - children have and develop their own ideas, make links between ideas and develop strategies for doing things.

News Updates Our playground tends to be full of puddles this time of year! Please ensure that your child has plenty of spare tshirts, jumpers, trousers, pants (if applicable), and socks. Please do name all items of clothing! Wellies and puddle suits are also advisable!   Bumble Bees
