Please take a look at our school Youtube Channel for home learning activities and school arts projects:
The images on this page show the wide range of arts activities St Nicholas students have been involved in over the past few years. These include creative class-based work , our own sensory-immersive performance projects, collaborations with outside artists through the YASS project and work with the Royal Shakespeare Company Associate Schools Project and The Marlowe Theatre Dance Network.
St Nicholas School creative arts team have a creative partnership with Moonbeam Theatre.
The first concept of Moonbeam Theatre was born over cups of coffee in the cafe of Canterbury’s Gulbenkian theatre in January 2020, when soon-to-be graduates at the time, Elyse, Colette and Vicky began dreaming of what their lives after University might look like. Excited by the possibility of setting up an accessible theatre company, they parked the idea to focus on finishing their Drama degrees. By the time they began to consider the idea more seriously, Jess had joined the conversation and in doing so, made Moonbeam complete! It wasn’t long after that Moonbeam Theatre was offered a residency at the University of Kent, which they were overjoyed to accept…and the adventure truly began!
