Thank you to those who came to the drop-in consultation evening at the school to discuss the plans we have to increase our numbers and open satellite classes at Spires Academy and The Canterbury Primary School. The school has grown in size over the past few years and this needs to be officially recognised in the number registered with the Department for Education. The satellite classes will also mean that we can continue that expansion to meet the increased demand for places at St Nicholas. We have a year to plan for these changes and to ensure that they are high quality and properly resourced. If you do have further questions do contact me.
This term we have already had a wonderful creative arts project in our sports hall and there will be many more exciting events for the children and young people to be involved in. I look forward to seeing you at the sports days and celebration events that are the highlights of the term.
Every pupil will receive a school report this term which will outline for you what has been covered during the year and we are continuing with the transition preparations for the autumn and the new classes.
I hope you all have a great summer break and thank you for your support.
