We are slowly expanding the numbers of pupils across all age groups who are getting an experience of school before the summer break. We are following carefully the risk assessment we put in place to keep children and staff as safe as possible. The updated risk assessment has been added to this website.
Thank you for the support you have given us during these very difficult times. The home-learning will still continue during this period so that we keep in contact with you.
We will be posting out an annual report for your child this week. Your class teacher will be able to talk to you about this when they contact you and explain some of the new information in them. It looks slightly different from last year and we would welcome your comments about this so that we can further improve it for next year.
We will be closing for the summer break on Tuesday 21 July so that the next day can be used for our preparation for September. As the Secretary of State for Education has made clear the government is planning for schools to begin as normal in the autumn. We will be having essential remedial work to the school building that has been delayed due to the Covid 19 crisis carried out over the summer.
A further consequence of the Covid 19 crisis will be the relocation of our pre-school unit (The Mary Sheridan) from the hospital site to that of Parkside Primary School.
